SpinThe instructor sets the cadence for this self-paced cycling class, but your heart rate determines the level of intensity. Beginners and experienced cyclists alike can experience this low impact high intensity cardiovascular workout that focuses on your quads, glutes, and hamstrings without pounding or straining the joints or connective tissues. X-SpinWe combined Spinning, core, and stretching into one class, creating a "whole body" sense of accomplishment. Great for anyone wanting to give spinning a try that may not want to jump into an entire hour of only Spinning. This is also a great way ensure you include your core, a priority for good posture, strength and healthy back. Anyone who finds themselves skipping core and could use that little push, or who needs a little more stretch time to reward their muscles for the great work they do for us everyday, should definitely attend. Yoga/SpinOur Yoga/Spin combination class is a great introduction to both Yoga and Spinning. Working with basic yoga poses as well as hip opening poses. This class gives you 30+ minutes of spin and yoga focuses on opening up the shoulders, hips, hip flexors and some core exercises., bringing length to your muscles after an intense workout. *Note: Saturday Yoga/Spinn is an 75 MInute Class. Postures are explored in detail and movements are slowed down giving space for the body to open. Flexibility is not a prerequisite! Vinyasa FlowAn active, empowering and physically challenging practice which conditions the whole body, increasing strength and flexibility. Rhythmic breathing is synchronized with conscious movement, such that poses smoothly flow one into another, in near-continuous motion. By integrating breath with motion energy blockages are released and the healthy flow of prana (energy or life-force) throughout the body is optimized. *Note: Saturday class is a full 75 minutes providing you with just enough extra time to fully restore after a long week. Power VinyasaFor those who seek to embody “going with the flow”, this challenging flowing practice synchronizes movement and breath in a room heated to about 80 degrees. Principles of alignment have been dissected and adapted to communicate “real language” to real people. Our instructors take pride in teaching outside the box, using principles of alignment that translate into functional movements. Reformer PilatesAn exercise in balance incorporating core stability and peripheral mobility through modern exercises and rehabilitation principles. Our method emphasizes “functional” movements that will help the student move more freely in real life. Ideal for the student with muscular and skeletal imbalances or for those who suffer from injuries. For the advanced-level, fit student exercises may be modified to make this an incredible workout! Mat PilatesWell-known for its wonderful ability to restore the spine to its natural curve, Pilates Note: Beginners and First Timers are welcome in this class.
