Suzanne Silvonen:  A High-5 specialist and life enthusiast, Suzanne’s passions run deep and wide: triathlons, hiking, snow boarding, rafting and chalk art, just to name a few. The mother of two cutie pies, she’s continuing her education to become a licensed massage therapist as well as a certified nutritionist. A strong believer in “you are what you eat,”  Suzanne coaches her clients from dinner table to push-up to treadmill. When she’s not raising the roof (whoop-whoop), she’s raising the bar, confident that her clients will exceed their own expectations and find their own unique path to healthy living.

Throughout her life, she has been active, always enjoying exercise and new physical challenges. She started Spin classes seven years ago and has been hooked ever since. Recently, she became Spin Certified and is in the process of developing her own unique “flavor” of classes. She welcomes all levels of fitness and will inspire you throughout hill climbs, jumps, mud and rain. Bring it on!

Mandy Hockema:  A graduate of ferrier school and a one-time ranch hand in Wyoming, this Newport girl clearly loves to kick it.  After attending Linn Benton and OSU, she married an Alaskan fisherman. As the mother of two busy, busy boys, she quickly learned to turn to fitness for stress relief and as a way to stay energized and healthy for herself and her family. A love of movement keeps her hiking, rock climbing, camping, and cycling with her family.

LisaMarolfwebLisa Marolf:  A native of Lincoln County, Lisa loves spreading her love of Zumba from north to south. “People always say they can’t dance, that they don’t have rhythm, but then they try Zumba and it becomes all they can talk about.” She’s often spotted practicing new creative moves while encouraging self-expression in her classes. When she’s not making cardio accessible and fun, Lisa enjoys weight lifting, kayaking and running. She’s run two marathons. Which makes her a fast Grandma, not just a hot Grandma.

AmiePierson Amie Pierson: 

 A passion for surfing, snowboarding and river running has lured this Seattle native to places near and far; Nicaragua and then Bend,  Oregon. Now, she’s settled with two dogs, several chickens and one man in Yachats. Her love of adventure and inspiring energy are reflected in her yoga classes and in her authentic approach to her students. In October of 2011, she earned her 200-hour yoga certification from the Yandara Yoga Institute in Baja Mexico. She’s also completed her Level I and II Reiki studies. David Haebler: With a degree In Exercise Science from Oregon State University, Dave is an enthusiastic combination of book smarts and street cred, applying years of experience working with clients on body mechanics, pre and post rehabilitation, sports specific training and long-term athletic performance.   When he’s not teaching and coaching, he channels his high-octane energy into surfing, snowboarding, camping, traveling the world in search of sun and surf and reading nerdy books about human movement and functionality.

As a working mom herself, she understands how challenging it can be for her clients to carve out time and effort for their conditioning. That’s why she enjoys developing efficient programs that balance strength, stretch and cardiovascular health. She shares her life with Simon, her husband, their two children and three rambunctious dogs. Needless to say, Alethea sleeps very well at night.

As a life-long athlete, Amber understands the motivation, dedication, and discipline needed to achieve a set of goals.  With a degree in Health and Exercise Science, including a concentration in Sports Medicine, from Colorado State University, she brings smarts and real life experience to her training. Her background in athletics, coaching, and physical therapy provides a compassionate combination of push, technique, and fun. She does not allow obstacles to get in the way of success. You hear that every time she claps her hands and says, “ you got three more.”

Co-owner of Bike Newport with her husband, Elliott, and the mother of “Little” Elliott. After giving birth to her son and launching Bike Newport, she started to focus on getting back into shape. Always an avid cyclist, she now also swims, runs, spins, and does Pilates and power sculpt classes. Competing in triathlons is a great way to stay in shape and has given her a great sense of accomplishment. Now certified to teach Spin, she’s looking forward to spreading her 80s music and enthusiasm to others.

He spent five years as a Volunteer Fire Fighter, before enjoying a 16-year career as a Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputy where he helped co-workers develop fitness and exercise programs so they could better chase the bad guys. During those years, he also started Competitive Power-Lifting and set a state record. As a trainer, he likes to focus on using body weight and compound movements along with balance and agility exercises to improve daily, functional living. You’ll often find him and his wife, Cyndi, both avid cyclists, riding their bikes to work from their home in Siletz.

w-bethBeth Williams: As a personal trainer, Beth Williams works with clients committed to feeling better.  She coaches them through weight loss, increased  cardiovascular endurance, strength gain, and increased mobility.  She tailors programs specific to their needs using, yoga, strength training, TRX suspension training  and functional movement testing.  

Beth's interest in the healing arts and therapeutics drew her to study yoga, meditation, Reiki and personal training. As someone who successfully manages her own chronic pain and injuries, Beth is sensitive to those who have injuries.
